We can honestly say that we wouldn't have been here without the mentors before us. This past year we spent time listening and learning from coffee professionals both locally and internationally as they shared their stories and experience through the coffee industry.
This sparked the idea of a new concept we've been working on. We present to you Cedar Chats. This is a platform where we invite special guests, whether it be locally or internationally to share their knowledge and experience with the coffee community. Whether you are an experienced coffee professional or just love drinking it; all is welcome. It may just spark your journey as a coffee professional or answer your burning questions.
This time around our theme revolves around decaf which has been making great strides in the coffee industry. We have been fortunate enough to welcome our special guest Emmanuel Dias the Commercial Director at Swiss Water Decaffeination. Swiss Water Decaffeination is a leading decaffeination company that uses a chemical-free process to remove caffeine from coffee beans. They work with coffee producers, traders, and roasters to provide high-quality decaf coffee. If ever there was a time to learn more about the process behind decaf this is your chance. We will also be hosting a decaf cupping at the end of the talk to add to this unique experience.
