Growth comes from the lessons learnt through many experiences. This statement holds true for us here at Cedar not just in the present but also through our past experiences. We can honestly say that we wouldn't have been here without the mentors before us. This past year we spent time listening and learning from coffee professionals both locally and internationally as they shared their stories and experience through the coffee industry. 

This sparked the idea of a new concept we've been working on. We present to you Cedar Chats. This is a platform where we invite special guests, whether it be locally or internationally to share their knowledge and experience with the coffee community. Whether you are an experienced coffee professional or just love drinking it; all is welcome. It may just spark your journey as a coffee professional or answer your burning questions. 

 This time we have the pleasure of welcoming Miguel Vicuña. Miguel is the Head of Education and Quality at Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters and a World Coffee Championships Judge. He has spent years working in specialty coffee through education, sensory evaluation, and quality, learning alongside coffee professionals from around the world. Miguel shares his journey, the lessons he's learnt along the way, and his perspective on what makes great coffee.
