Operations Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant part-time (2 days a week). You will be tasked with packing and distributing coffee to our online customers and wholesale clients and helping to maintain the day-to-day operations

As an Operations Assistant in our coffee roastery, your job role may include the following :

Responsibilities:

  • Managing inventory levels of coffee beans, packaging materials, and other supplies through stocktakes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the management of accurate and timely order packing, preparing, and shipping. 
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the roastery, including equipment maintenance.
  • Assisting with packaging and labeling of coffee bags for retail or wholesale distribution.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the roastery.
  • Providing customer service and support, including answering inquiries about coffee products via walk-in clients/customers.
  • Ensuring all orders dispatched adhere to the highest standards of the Cedar Brand and quality.
  • Supporting special projects or initiatives as needed to contribute to the overall success of the roastery.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in coffee related field or warehousing is a bonus
  • A high degree of reliability
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
