SCA Barista Skills Intermediate

| /

The Barista Skills Intermediate course builds on the fundamentals covered in the Foundation level and is designed for baristas who already have hands-on experience. This course dives deeper into coffee quality, flavour, workflow, and the practical skills needed for more advanced barista roles.

Over three days, participants will develop a stronger understanding of how variety, origin, and processing influence flavour; how dose, grind, water quality, and shot time interact when dialling in a recipe; and how to construct drinks with accuracy and consistency. We also cover advanced sensory skills for espresso, workflow efficiency, milk handling, and latte art development. Additional modules include customer service, health and safety, and basic business concepts relevant to the barista profession.
